Lil Wayne Albums

The artist Lil Wayne has over his 16 years of recording he has released 7 albums. the albums are all called Tha Block Is Hot ''1996'',Lights Out ''2000'',500 Degreez ''2002'',Tha Carter ''2004'',Tha Carter, Vol. 2 ''2005'' Tha Carter III ''2008''and Rebirth.  Carter III, the most highly anticipated hip-hop album, it sold 1,000,000 copies the first week it was released.  Rebirth is the seventh studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne, released February 2, 2010 on Cash Money Records. 

The Hot Boys

The Hot Boys was a group made in 1997 featuring rappers Turk,Juvenile,B.G. and Lil Wayne.  They put out 3 albums “Get It How U Live!”, “Guerrilla Warfare” and “Let ‘Em Burn”.  They also recorded a soundtrack for the film they stared in called “Baller Blockin’'.  In 2009, they reunited and are already working on a reunion album that will realease sometime in 2011.  Lil Wayne also brought out the Hot Boys on his I Am Music tour when they where in New Orleans back in 2009.  Here are some small facts about the group,Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, joined the Hot Boys when he was just 15 years old and was the youngest member of the group. Since then, Weezy has founded his own label called Young Money Entertainment and has won four Grammy awards. 


Christopher Dorsey, better known by his stage name B.G., is the founder of the record label Chopper City Records. B.G. is also known as B. Gizzle and is mostly known for his big hit single titled “Bling Bling” (a word Lil Wayne created).  Terius Gray, better known by his stage name Juvenile, is an American rapper from New Orleans. Juvi has released 10 albums in his music career, and is currently signed to Atlantic Records after leaving Cash Money Records in 2006.  Tab Virgil Jr, better known by his stage name Turk, is an American rapper from New Orleans who also goes by the names of Young Turk and Lil Turk. He is currently in jail for being convicted of an attempted murder of a police officer in 2004.

Cash Money Records

Cash Money Records a American recording company founded in 1991 by rappers Birdman aka Brian Williams and Slim aka Ronald Williams.  This industrie has all different types of artist including Lil Waynes label young money is sighned to Cash Money.  The artist involved with Cash Money are Birdman,Ashley Ring,All Star Cashville Prince,Bow Bow,Brisco,Glasses Malone,Jay Sean,Kevin Rudolf,T Lopez and Lil Wayne.  As Lil Wayne work his way up from being in the label to being the president of it at the age of 25.

Young Money is a group a groop of young artist that he brought up by Lil wayne a second generation of cash money.  All there names are Drake,Nick Manij,Lil Twist,Lil Chuckee,Gudda,Short Dawg,Cory Gunz,Shannel,tyga,Mack maine,Jae Mils,T-Streets.  Young Money has already put out an album that went platnuim.

The reasons I like music is because I feel that there are all different types of  personalitys of  life that can be expressed by a curtain musical melody.

The Carter documentary was a impowering film that helped me strive to take my level of being an artist up to a different level.  In the begining Lil Wayne is in a hotel in Amsterdam he always takes a black bag were he has a microphone and a laptop but no pen no paper and lets loose.  He talks about how when he had shot himself at the age eleven.  Lil wayne does smoke weed he talks freely about how he started to smoke at the young age of eleven.  He likes to drink perscription codine mixed with soda pop but does not like about it cause people say its an addiction.  He has a little daughter named Reshinay that is 12 years old and is a part of a group with 4 girls.  It also talks about his short marriage with Toya Carter who now has her own series called Tiny and Toya
